Education Publishing Intern, Springer Nature Opening Doors Programme London, UK – Hybrid Working Model Are you looking for an internship that provides hands-on experience in educational publishing and the chance to make connections at one of the largest publishers of education and research content? The Springer Nature Opening Doors Education Publishing internship, with Macmillan Education is a paid opportunity in the UK to gain experience in editorial, rights, sales and marketing in a thriving publishing department dedicated to providing resources to schools in the Caribbean. Many groups and perspectives are currently underrepresented in the publishing industry, which is a challenge that we are actively trying to address at Springer Nature. The successful applicant will spend up to six months within the Caribbean Schools team, part of the Macmillan Education division of Springer Nature. If selected for this internship, you will be developing skills, experience and insight into a thriving educational publishing business across all its publishing, editorial, rights, sales and marketing functions. About us: Macmillan Education Caribbean are a well-established, outgoing, mutually supportive, friendly multifunctional team working within Springer Nature, based in their Kings Cross offices. We are proud that for 70 years we have published the leading resources used in Caribbean schools that provide support for Caribbean ministries of education, teachers and students. We publish a wide range of components, across many subject areas and at all levels of school education. Creatively, we maintain and grow our Caribbean business, relationships and revenue streams. About you: * Available to start in June 2024 for an internship of up to six months * Can demonstrate an active interest in a career that shares our passions for education, publishing and the Caribbean region * Proficient in English.
